Oil Burner Service Plan

This plan will automatically renew so your service is never interrupted.

1. Efficiency Tune-Up

Just like your car, your heating system should be serviced periodically. Specific benefits of an annual tune-up are as follows:

• Keeps the system running cleanly and reduces unexpected service calls
• Increases efficiency of your heating system which help to keep the environment clean
• Saves you money on fuel (approximately 10%)
• Prolongs the life of your heating system

• Combustion Efficiency Test
• Fuel Flow
• Flame Igniters
• Transformer and High-Tension Leads
• Burner End Cone
• Burner Pump Coupling
• Flame Safety Lockout
• High-Temperature Limit Safety
• Low-Water Cutoff (Steam System Only)
• Drain Expansion Tank (if necessary)
• Service Switch Operation
• Belts and Air Filter (Warm Air System)
• Burner Motors
• Circulator Motors/Blower Motors
• Boiler/Furnace Heat Exchanger
• Oil Filter/Gasket and Fuel Pump Strainer
• Burner Fan and Air Shutter

2. Safety Inspection

Your home heating system is complex and relies on multiple components to operate properly. A Kerivan-Lane, Inc. certified technician will ensure all of those components are operating at their factory specifications.

3. Priority Service

Priority Service means customers with a service plan will be prioritized over customers without a plan. Service plan customers will get the first available time slot and will be billed at normal business hour rates (Monday – Friday 8a.m. – 4p.m.).

Emergency service provided on holidays and/or outside normal business hours will be subject to a prevailing rate of 1.5 times, minimum 1 hour.

4. Parts Protection

If any of the following parts need to be replaced during the year, the cost of the part and the labor to replace it is covered under this service plan.
